After an amazing competition, the Lady Scots Gymnastics Team won their compulsory meet against Saginaw High School and scored their highest team score in nearly 20 years. The team has only scored 116 or better one other time in the last 10 years.

Sophomore Ana Simpson won the All-Around competition with a 39.0. Ana won Bars, was 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Beam, and 2nd on Floor. She scored season high scores on Vault, Bars, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.85 on Vault.

Sophomore Lily Ford placed 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Beam, 2nd All-Around, 3rd on Bars, and 3rd on Floor. Lily scored season high scores on Vault, Beam, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.85 on Vault.

Senior Captain Kennedy Downing scored a nearly perfect score of 9.95 on Vault and won that event. Kennedy was 3rd All-Around, 4th on Beam, 5th on Floor, and 6th on Bars. She scored season highs on Vault, Bars, Beam, and All-Around.

Senior Captain Linda Tran placed 2nd on Bars and 6th on Vault. She scored a season high on Vault with a 9.8.

Junior Olivia Adams competed in the all-around and scored season highs on Vault, Bars, Beam, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.2 on Vault.

Senior Abby Sabatini competed in the All-Around and scored a season high on Vault.

Freshman Era Johnston competed in the All-Around and scored a season high on Vault and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 8.5 on Vault.

Sophomore Riley Neumann competed on three events and scored season highs on Vault, Bars and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.4 on Bars.

Freshman Caroline Fullwood competed on three events in her debut as a Lady Scot. Her highest score of the meet was 9.15 on Vault.

The next meet is scheduled for January 2022.
