The Running Scots competed well against a deep field of teams at the Waxahachie Woodhouse Invitational on Saturday at Lakeview Camp in Maypearl. Eight Regional and State qualifiers squared off in the Men's Varsity Elite Division.

The Varsity team finished 6th overall in the Elite division and was led by Senior Captain Spencer Haag who finished 16th overall with a personal best time of 15:37. Beau Stewart ( and helped his team to a 6th place finish overall. Other outstanding performances were turned in by Beau Stewart (28th) and Luke Hall (36th).

The Junior Varsity finished 6th overall and were led by Charlie Hamilton who finished 28th overall with a personal best time of 18:53. Outstanding performances were also turned in by Max Walters and Anthony Glennon.

Runners of the Week are Beau Stewart and Akash Shah for the Varsity. For the Junior Varsity Max Walters and Drake Soukup.

The Running Scots will compete next Saturday at the Southlake 2 Mile XC Invitational at Bob Jones Park. Race-time is 6:50 am.
