Congratulations to the Lady Scots Varsity Girls Gymnastics Team for winning the District Championship. The Lady Scots qualified to the Regional Championships scheduled for April 16-17 at Rockwall High School.

Junior Lily Overton was the District All-Around Champion, District Beam Champion, and District Floor Champion. She placed 2nd on Bars and 3rd on Vault. Her highest score of the meet was 9.625 on Compulsory Vault and Beam. Lily scored season high scores on Beam and Floor on Day 1, and Bars, Floor and All-Around on Day 2.

Junior Tatum Meeks was the District Vault Champion and District Bars Champion. She placed 3rd on Beam, 4thon Floor, and 2nd All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.8 on Compulsory Vault. Tatum scored a season high on Optional Bars.

Senior Allison Walters placed 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Beam, 3rd on Bars, 3rd on Floor, and 3rd All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.55 on Compulsory Beam. Allison scored season highs on Bars on Day 1, and Vault, Bars, and All-Around on Day 2.

Junior Captain Katherine Downing placed 2nd on Floor, 4th on Vault, 4th on Beam, 5th on Bars, and 4th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.55 on Compulsory Beam. Katherine scored season highs on Bars, Beam and All-Around on Day 1, and Floor and All-Around on Day 2.

Freshman Carly Hart placed 7th on Bars with a season high score on Compulsory Day 1. Her highest score of the meet was 8.675 on Optional Floor.

Senior Grayson Gale placed 6th on Bars and 7th on Beam. She scored season highs on both Compulsory and Optional Beam. Her highest score of the meet was Compulsory Bars.

Freshman Lauren Cimorelli placed 6th on Floor. Lauren scored season high scores on Compulsory Bars and Optional Floor. Her highest score of the meet was Optional Floor.

Senior Captain Lexi Epstein competed on Vault at District. She scored a season high on Optional Vault.
Freshman Emily Conaty competed on Beam at District. Her highest score was Compulsory Beam.
Freshman Marisa Albarran completed on Compulsory Vault, and Freshman Aubrey Stevens competed Compulsory Floor.
