The Lady Scots Gymnastics Team traveled to College Station for the 2023 State Championships this week.

Junior Captain Lily Ford was the top finisher for Highland Park Lady Scots. Her highest finish on an event was 21st in the All-Around and 23rd on Beam. Her highest score of the meet was 9.55 which she scored twice, on Vault and Floor. Lily scored 9.0 or higher on 7 of her 8 events.

Junior Captain Ana Simpson had the highest finish on an individual event, finishing 21st on Beam. Ana finished 25th on Floor and 27th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.65 on Floor. Ana scored 9.425 or higher on 6 of her 8 events.

Junior Margaret Maambo finished 32nd in the All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.475 on Vault. Margaret scored 9.15 or higher on 6 of her 8 events.

Junior Erin Bollinger finished 46th in the All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.325 on Bars. Erin scored 9.2 or higher in all four events in Compulsory, and 8.5 or higher 3 of the 4 Optional events.
