Congratulations to the Lady Scots Gymnastics Team for winning their first meet of the season by more than 7 points over Garland and Abilene. The girls topped their season high team score by nearly a point.

Junior Captains Ana Simpson and Lily Ford led the team to their win. Ana placed first on Vault, Bars, Beam, and All-Around. She was 2nd on Floor. She scored 9.5 or higher on all events, with season highs on Bars, Beam, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.85 on Beam.

Junior Captain Lily Ford won Floor, and placed 2nd on Vault, Bars, Beam, and All-Around. Lily scored 9.4 or higher on every event, with season highs on Bars, Beam, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.8 on Beam.

Junior Margaret Maambo made her official competition debut as a Lady Scot placing 4th on Vault, 6th on Bars, 4th on Beam, 3rd on Floor, and 4th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.5 on Floor.

Junior Erin Bollinger also competed in her first official gymnastics meet representing HP. Erin placed 4th on Bars, 5th on Beam, 7th on Floor, and 6th All-Around. She had season highs on Bars and Beam. Her highest score of the meet was 9.3 on Beam.

Sophomore Caroline Fullwood competed in the All-Around with her highest finish being 10th on Floor. Caroline scored a season high on Beam. Her highest score of the meet was 8.85 on Floor.

Freshman Harper O’Neal made her transition from Lady Raiders Gymnastics to Lady Scots Gymnastics at this meet. Harper placed 5th on Floor and scored season highs on Bars, Beam, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.35 on Floor.

The Lady Scots return to competition following the Thanksgiving holidays. They are scheduled to compete at the 2022 Toys for Tots Invitational hosted by L.D. Bell High School on Friday, December 2.
