The Lady Scots won their meet with Arlington ISD on Wednesday evening with their highest optional team score of the season. The team score was nearly 2 points higher than their previous high score for optionals.

Senior Captain Kennedy Downing continued to lead the team as the top all-around finisher. Kennedy was Vault Champion and Floor Champion. She placed 6th on Bars, 3rd on Beam, and 2nd All-Around. Kennedy scored season highs on Vault, Beam, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.6 on Floor.

Sophomore Ana Simpson was the Bars Champion. She placed 5th on Vault, 5th on Beam, 5th on Floor, and 3rd All-Around with a season high school. Her highest score of the meet was 9.4 on Floor.

Sophomore Lily Ford was the Beam Champion. She placed 7th on Vault, 8th on Bars, 2nd on Floor, and 4th All-Around. Lily scored season highs on Beam, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.55 which she scored on both Beam and Floor.

Senior Captain Linda Tran placed 8th on Vault, 2nd on Bars, 6th on Beam, 6th on Floor, and 6th All-Around. Linda scored a season high on Floor, which was her highest score of the meet (9.25).

Junior Olivia Adams placed 8th on Vault, 7th on Bars, and 8th on Beam. Her highest score of the meet was 8.3 on Vault.

Freshman Caroline Fullwood placed 5th on Vault, 9th on Bars, and 8th on Floor. Caroline scored a season high on Vault, which was her highest score of the meet (8.65).

The next meet for the Lady Scots is the HP Lady Scots Invitational hosted by HP. The meet is schedule for Wednesday, February 16 at 10 a.m. in the Hegi Family Gymnastics Training Facility.
