On Mar 12, #1 in district HP travelled to #2 West Mesquite for the final regular season game. Having clinched district title several games ago HP showed no signs of slowing down against a strong opponent to win 5-1. Freshman Brant Williams was the first to score, followed by sophomore Jake Whitehurst with two more goals. Fourth goal was by sophomore Rhett Rapuzzi. Senior Preston Jones scored one for HP defense with assist from senior Stewart Scott. Junior Jack Krejs collected 1 assist and junior Richie Paulus collected 2 assists. HP ended the district season with #1 defense (least points allowed, most shutouts), #1 offense with most points scored (17 different players scored).

Tonight, Mar 26, at 7:30pm HP will play in the Bi-District playoffs against Corsicana. Neutral site game location is Wilmer-Hutchins Eagle Stadium (5520 Langdon Rd, Dallas, TX 75241). Tickets -
