Two more games, two more wins. On Tuesday Jan 19, varsity travelled to Forney to begin district season and came away with a 3-1 win. Senior Max Adams scored early in the first half with senior Anthony Lanio adding another goal for a 2-0 Scots lead. Forney fought back in the second half with a score and was gaining momentum until sophomore Jake Whitehurst scored. For the remaining 15 minutes, Scots defense did its usual excellence to seal the 3-1 win.

On Friday, the Scots hosted another district foe, Greenville Dragons, at the Highlander and recorded a 3-0 win. Senior Max Adams scored for the second game in a row for a 1-0 lead going into half time. Midway through the second half, freshman Elias Taft scored, followed by junior Jack Krejs scoring. Scots defense showed up again to notch another shutout win.

Congratulations to a trio of young Scots, freshman Elias Taft, sophomore Jake Whitehurst, Junior Jack Krejs, for scoring their first varsity goals. Here's to many more scores for these Scots!
