Continuing preseason play, Men's Soccer varsity travelled to Wichita Falls for a two-day tournament. The team played two matches on the first day where the defense lead by senior Preston Jones was stout as usual but the scoring offense had difficulty breaking through. The Scots lost 0-1 to LD Bell and 0-1 to Wichita Falls.

On the second day, the offensive drought was dispatched when junior Lucas Guevara scored 2 goals in the first half. Mount Pleasant worked to tie the game until senior Matthew Sherrill scored the game winning goal for the Scots.

The highlight of the trip was the fun overnight stay for the team to have two days of team bonding, adding to the already good camaraderie of this team. Thank you, coaches and captain moms for all your good work.
