Good soccer plus good weather made for a fabulous start of the season. Two days after the season opener, varsity played 3 more games in 3 days to have an overall record of 2 wins and 2 ties. Technically undefeated, the inexperienced team with 20 first-time varsity players is coming together on and off the field, putting their training and camaraderie to good use the Scots way. We're so proud of this team!

This week also marks Reid Valentine's departure to Germany for a year for soccer training and studies there. Reid not only made varsity as a freshman but is a starter from the first game on defense.

“From day one, Reid has been an all-in player. His humble effort, consistent performance, and joy for the game had an indelible impression on this year's team. What’s most impressive is his competitive maturity which enabled him to compete, hold others accountable, and garner the respect of coaches and teammates alike."

"Best wishes to Reid as he begins his journey abroad. We’ll have a jersey waiting when you come home.” - Head Coach Salvador Richie
