The Lady Scots basketball team clinched the District 11-5A title Friday night after beating Thomas Jefferson 90-22. Six players scored in double digits and were led in scoring by sophomore, Ella Patterson, who scored 21. Patterson also had 10 rebounds and eight assists. Sophomore, Madison Visinsky, had a double-double as well with 12 points and 12 boards. The team's lone senior, Caroline Keogh, scored 14 for her last home stand. Cate Rhodes chipped in 13, Madelyn Miller added 11 points and eight assists, and Freshman, Riley Mae Herrod, had 10 points. The victory was a complete team effort as has been the case the entire season. The Lady Scots are now 13-0 in district play and 20-10 overall. They travel to Woodrow Wilson for the final district game Tuesday night. Congratulations to the Lady Scots and good luck in the playoffs!
