The Running Scots competed well at the Gerald Richey UTA XC Invitational on Friday at Harold Patterson Sports Complex in Arlington.

The Varsity team finished first overall with a team time of 17:16. The Running Scots were led by Spencer Haag who had an outstanding performance finishing 3rd overall. Luke Hall finished 8th overall and the team had four runners in the top 13 to help bring home the win.

The Junior Varsity turned in a 3rd place finish and were led by Ranger Walsh and Drake Soukup who finished 5th and 7th overall. The team had four runners finish in the top 17.

Runners of the week for both Varsity and JV are Spencer Haag and Samarjeet Singh.

The team will compete next Saturday at the Lovejoy XC Fall Festival at Myers Park in McKinney.
