The Running Scots competed well in all 3 divisions at the Nike South Invitational at Bear Branch Park in The Woodlands.

The Varsity Elite team of Jacob Baumgartner, Bennett Blevins, Spencer Haag, Luke Johnson, Antonio Sanchez, Akash Shah, and Beau Stewart finished 14th overall in a 6A dominated field of teams. The Running Scots finished in front of its 5A competitors, and 2023 state qualifiers, Boerne Champion and Humble Kingwood Park. Leading the team were Junior Spencer Haag and Senior Bennett Blevins who finished 26th and 33rd overall.

The Running Scots ran a second varsity team in the Green Division and finished strong with only 5 runners. The team was led by Freshman Cole Davis who finished 38th overall.

The JV also ran well finishing in front of 5A competitor Humble Kingwood Park. The team was led by Freshman Samarjeet Singh who finished 38th overall.

Runners of the week are Spencer Haag, Bennett Blevins, Beau Stewart, Cole Davis, and Samarjeet Singh.

The team competes next on Thursday, October 10th in the 12-5A Championship Meet at Myers Park in McKinney. Go Scots!!
