The Running Scots competed well under the lights on Friday night at the Hebron Hawk Invite at McInnish Park in Carrollton.

The varsity elite team of Jacob Baumgartner, Bennett Blevins, Spencer Haag, Luke Hall, Akash Shah, Beau Stewart and Frankie Stewart finished 2nd overall. The team had an outstanding split from runners 1-7 of 32 seconds. The team was led by senior Bennett Blevins who finished 8th overall with a time of 10:23.70 in the two-mile race.

The varsity open team turned in a 5th place finish in the team standings and were led by junior Luke Johnson who finished 11th overall.

The junior varsity also finished 2nd in the team standing and were led by sophomore Charlie Hamilton who broke under 12 minutes for the first time. The JV also had a 1-5 split time under 30 seconds.
