The Lady Scots Cross Country Team celebrated their 2023 season on Thursday, November 30th at their annual banquet. The banquet was led by the team captains – Adalyn Booth, Rylie Galanos, and Ashley Goldman. The team had a great season and made many fun memories!

There were 45 athletes who were named to the District 7-6A Academic All-District Team:

Freshmen – Ellie Chong, Olivia Deadman, Claire Deeken, Brooke DeVault, Caroline Diehl, Avi Levy, Jenna McCombs, Emery Paulsen, Campbell Ragan, Esme Schroeder, Ryan Sontag, and Alejandra Villasana.
Sophomores – Julia Berlin, Campbell Dean, Gracie Golden, Hayden Gray, Maddie Heckler, Annika Johnson, Kate Kozman, Kate Lipscomb, Mary Grace Mousa, Presley Pate, Bess Prather, and Ava Thropp
Juniors – Surya Assar, Elaine Cochran, Mary Lawrence Cordon, Mary Katherine Diehl, Molly Fitzmartin, Anna Katherine Goldman, Samantha Meck, Natalie Miller, Kate Moran, Tessa Nurre, Varsha Ravi, Price Rhodes, and Caroline Scott

The following senior athletes received Academic All-State recognition:

• Texas Girls Coaches Association and Cross Country Coaches Association of Texas Academic All-State: Kayla Dickerson, Rylie Galanos, Ashley Goldman, Ana Simpson, Gracie Spillman, and Katie Taulbee

The following athletes were District 7-6A All-District:

Claire Deeken (1st Team), Kayla Dickerson (1st Team), Maddie Heckler (1st Team), Samantha Meck (1st Team), Caroline Scott (2nd Team), Ryan Sontag (2nd Team), and Katie Taulbee (2nd Team).
