Scots Varsity Tennis kicked off the year with a non-district match against the Southlake Dragons. After wrapping up the doubles matches, the Scots were in the lead 4 - 3 due to wins by Will Hinze/Alex Lajous, Ava Keating/Erica Zeitman, Ellie Sullivan/Gigi Patterson, and Noah Perhirin/Briana Rees.

Throughout the singles matches, the Scots and Dragons were tied. Wins by Prestscott Barnell, Briana Rees, Ava Keating, Erica Zeitman, and Ellie Sullivan brought the Scots to 9 match wins.

In the end, the Scots came up short by 1, losing 9-10. The energy in the Seay Center was intense after having to move the last 2 matches indoors.

Scots Tennis looked promising after a long summer - looking forward to our first district match on 8/15.
