Four Lady Scot Gymnasts competed in Day 1 of State Championships in College Station on Friday morning.

Junior Captain Ana Simpson was the top-finisher for HP in Compulsory. Ana scored 9.425 on Vault, 9.5 on Bars, 9.45 on Beam, and 9.65 on Floor. Her highest event placement is Floor.

Junior Captain Lily Ford scored 9.55 on Vault, 9.325 on Bars, 9.45 on Beam, and 9.55 on Floor. Her highest event placements are Vault and Beam.

Junior Margaret Maambo scored 9.275 on Vault, 9.25 on Bars, 9.15 on Beam, and 9.45 on Floor. Her highest event placement is Floor.

Junior Erin Bollinger scored 9.25 on Vault, 9.325 on Bars, 9.2 on Beam, and 9.25 on Floor. Her highest event placement is Bars.

The gymnasts will compete in Day 2 of competition on Saturday in pursuit of individual state titles.
