Highland Park Gymnastics hosted the 2023 Lady Scots Invitational on February 15, hosting 3 of the top teams in the state. The Lady Scots placed 4th as a team and improved their top team score to 107.35.

Junior Captain Lily Ford was the top finisher for HP placing 6th on Floor, 15th on Vault, 15th on Bars, 10th on Beam, and 11th All-Around. Lily score season highs on Vault, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.6 on Floor.

Junior Captain Ana Simpson placed 18th on Vault, 14th on Bars, 15th on Beam, 11th on Floor, and 12th All-Around. Ana scored season highs on Beam and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.4 on Floor.

Junior Margaret Maambo placed 11th on Vault, 13th on Bars, 23rd on Beam, 8th on Floor, and 13th All-Around. Margaret scored season highs on Vault and Floor. Her highest score of the meet was 9.5 on Floor.

Junior Erin Bollinger placed 21st on Vault, 20th on Bars, 18th on Beam, 23rd on Floor, and 15th All-Around. Erin scored season highs on Vault and Floor. Her highest score of the meet was 8.6.

Sophomore Caroline Fullwood placed 22nd on Vault, 22nd on Bars, 21st on Beam, 25th on Floor, and 16th All-Around. Caroline scored season highs on EVERY event and in the All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 8.5 on Vault.

Freshman Harper O’Neal placed 24th on Vault, 21st on Bars, and 20th on Floor. She scored a season high on Vault and her highest score of the meet was 8.9 on Floor.

The Lady Scots return to competition next week at the Mark Williams Invitational in Euless, TX.
