The Lady Scots Track & Field Team competed in the last two practice meets on February 9th and 10th. On the 9th, the team traveled to Lovejoy and competed in a tri-meet with Lovejoy and Prosper Rock Hill. The meet consisted of the shot put and eight running events.

The top performers in each event were:

• Madeleine Denton – 100 M Dash – 13.36
• Kayla Dickerson – 800 M Run – 2:21.53

• Emory Rhodes – 100 M Hurdles – 17.12
• Lily Hart – 200 M Dash - 27.50 and 400 M Dash – 62.59
• Ellie Preston – 1600 M Run - 5:31.84
• Chloe Haag – 300 M Hurdles – 50.94

The team returned to Germany Park on the 10th and hosted Coppell and the boys’ teams from Coppell and Jesuit. A big thank you to all the parents who helped with the meet!

The first pre-season meet is the McKinney Boyd Relays at Ron Poe Stadium on Friday, February 17th and 18th. On Friday and Saturday, the events start at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be sold only online through Ticket Spicket.
