Our Gymnastics team had strong 1st meet last night, winning the Lakeview Invitational. A near record score of 173.7, HP gymnasts beat Lakeview, Garland, Abilene High, Abilene Cooper.

Clayton Staunton, continues his undefeated Reign from last year, placing first in every event with two 10’s and two 9.9’s.

John Sartain had a personal best of 57.00 for a 4th in the all around and a tie for the win on Vault along with a 9.7, 2nd on Pommel Horse.

William Benz scored no less than 9.1 on five events with his highest of 9.7 and a 4th on Horizontal Bar.

Senior Captain Lance Lorio showed up with a 9.9 on Rings, his PB.

Sam Hamilton started his 1st year in Varsity with a 9.1 and 9.6 on Rings and Vault.

Tommy Simpson helped HP with a 9.4 and 9.6 on Floor and Vault respectively.

Ryder Greene coming back from an injury shot to the top of his game with three scores in the 9’s and a 4th on Floor 9.5.

JT Mills and Jake Ford also had scores 9.2 and above.
