Running Scots compete @ Lovejoy XC Fall Festival

The Running Scots competed well in all three divisions at the Lovejoy XC Fall Festival on Saturday at Myers Park. The team of Jackson Dean, Drew Gregory, Spencer Haag, William Jaudes, Kalder Korte, Mark Nance, and Luke Smith finished 14th out of 33 teams competing in the Varsity Elite division. The team was led by William Jaudes who finished 28th overall with a time of 16:18.69. Spencer Haag also turned in an outstanding performance as he finished 66th overall, and 3rd among freshmen. Haag ran a personal best time of 16:51.12 and is the Golden Spike varsity runner of the week.

In the second Varsity division, the team finished 7th out of 45 teams competing. Leading the team was Frankie Stewart as he finished 27th overall, with a personal best time of 17:55.62. Stewart is the varsity runner of the week.

The junior varsity also finished 7th out of 46 teams competing and were led by Archer Stahl, who ran a season best time of 19:06.33 and finished 23rd overall. 5 JV runners finished with personal best times. Stahl is the JV runner of the week.

The Running Scots compete next Saturday at the Garmin Milesplit TX XC Invitational at South Lakes Park in Denton. Race time is 7:20. Go Scots!!
