HP gymnasts had a big meet, winning the District Championships over Lakeview, Garland, Irving Nimitz, Irving McArthur.

Clayton Staunton won the all around and all 7 events (staying undefeated this year) while teammate junior Austin Chapman was 2nd all around and pommel horse, rings, parallel bars and horizontal bar!

Senior Adam Harper had a personal best of 9.0 on floor his first day and ended up 8th.

John Sartain also had PB on horizontal bar with a 9.3 day one placing a 5th on horizontal bar as well as 5th on parallel bars and 6th on pommel horse.

Lance Lorio was our best finisher after Clay and Austin, with a 4th on Rings. Other top 10 finishers were Thomas Simpson, Andrew Else and William Benz.

The gymnasts move on to Regional at Heath HS on April 11 and 12.
