The Lady Scots Track & Field Teams competed at the McKinney Boyd Relays on Friday, February 18th and Saturday, February 19th. Both teams competed very well – the Varsity placed 4th out of 18 teams and the JV placed 5th out of 12 teams. McKinney North won both divisions. This was the first regular season meet for the Lady Scots.
In the Varsity Division:

• Distance Medley Relay – 3rd – 12:41.72 – team members: Charlotte Hudson (1200), Parker Herzog (400), Caroline Scott (800), Ellie Preston (1600)
• Sprint Medley Relay – 2nd – 4:18.11 – team members: Caroline Jirovec, captain Kate Rossley, Parker Herzog, Kayla Dickerson
• 4 x 400 M Relay – 5th – 4:15.20 – team members: Lily Hart, Ellie Preston, Charlotte Hudson, Kayla Dickerson
In the JV Division:
• Charlotte Pulliam – 6th – long jump – 13’ 11 ¼”
• Katherine Ann Cochran – 3rd – pole vault – 7’ 0” – tied PR
• Mary Katherine Diehl – 6th – pole vault – 7’ 0”, 1st – 3200 m run – 5:56.39
• Abbie Herring – 2nd – 300 m hurdles – 52.35
• Mia Green – 4th – 300 m hurdles – 53.39

• 4 x 800 M Relay – 5th – 11:19.85 – team members: Mary Katherine Diehl, Katie Taulbee, Reese Preston, Varsha Ravi
• 4 x 400 M Relay – 2nd – 4:27.24 – team members: Ana Simpson, Mary Katherine Diehl, Ava Thompson, Mia Green
The following Varsity athletes also set a new personal record or tied a personal record:
captain Ellie Jones (discus – 84’ 9”), Katherine Anne Massey (tied PR – pole vault – 8’ 0”), Mason Prather (shot put – 31’ 3”), Ashley Goldman (3200 m run – 12:47.39), Emory Rhodes (100 m hurdles – 17.08), Ailey Fidler (300 m hurdles – 53.55). In the JV Division, Olivia Adams set a new personal record in the 100 m dash with a time of 14.09.
The next meet for the Lady Scots will be the Coppell Relays on Saturday, March 5th at Coppell High School. The field events start at 8:00 a.m., the 3200 M Run starts at 9:00 a.m., and the rest of the running events start at 1:00 p.m.
