The Lady Scots Gymnastics Team traveled to Rudder High School to compete on Thursday. They finished 2nd placed behind the host team.

Senior Captain Kennedy Downing continued to lead the team placing 2nd on Vault, 10th on Bars, 2nd on Beam, 4th on Floor, and 4th All-Around. She scored a season high on Beam. Her highest score of them meet was 9.4 on Vault.

Senior Captain Linda Tran placed 10th on Vault, 1st on Bars, 12th on Beam, 9th on Floor, and 5th in the All-Around. Linda scored season highs on Vault and Bars. Her highest scores of the meet was 8.9 on Vault and Floor.

Sophomore Ana Simpson placed 8th on Vault, 12th on Bars, 6th on Beam, 9th on Floor, and 9th All-Around. Ana scored season highs on Vault, Beam, Floor, and All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.15 on Beam.

Sophomore Lily Ford placed 14th on Vault, 11th on Bars, 4th on Beam, 14th on Floor, and 10th All-Around. She scored season highs on Vault and Beam. Her highest score of the meet was 9.2 on Beam.

Junior Olivia Adams placed 15th on Vault, 12th on Bars, 18th on Beam. She scored a season high on Vault with her highest score of the meet.

The next Optional meet is the Mark Williams Invitational scheduled for Wednesday, February 2 in Euless, TX.
