HP Gymnasts dominated LD Bell in the first Optional Meet of the Season, winning by 20 points.

Clayton Staunton started where he took off from last year, undefeated in the all-around and winning 5 events.
Not too far behind Clay was Austin Chapman (Pictured above )who placed 2nd in the All Around and won Rings and Vault.

Freshman Ryder Greene rocked a 45.5 All Around score for a 4th as well as a 2nd and 3rd on Horizontal Bar and Vault.

Senior Andrew Else placed on Floor and Vault with a 5th and 6th place finish using his double twist dismount.

Coming back from illness was Lance Lorio who placed 4th on Rings….performing an Iron Cross for the first time. And Sophomore John Sartain took home a 5th on Pommel Horse.

A surprisingly terrific start to the Optional Season.
