The Lady Scots Varsity Girls Gymnastics team finished a close 2nd behind Rockwall High School at the 2021 Lakeview Compulsory Invitational. The team had an outstanding start to the season!

The team was led by Sophomore Ana Simpson who won the All-Around, placed 1st on Beam, 2nd on Vault, 2nd on Bars, and 3rd on Floor. Ana scored 9.4 or higher on all events. Her highest score of the meet was 9.65 on Floor.

Senior Captain Kennedy Downing placed 4th All-Around, 2nd on Floor, 3rd on Bars, 3rd on Beam, and 4th on Vault. Her highest score of the meet was 9.75 on Floor.

Sophomore Lily Ford won Floor, placed 3rd on Beam, 7th on Vault, and 5th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.8 on Floor.

Senior Abby Sabatini placed 7th All-Around, 8th on Beam, and 8th on Floor. Her highest score of the meet was 9.35 on Floor.

Junior Olivia Adams tied for 7th in the All-Around, and 7th on Beam. Her highest score of the meet was 8.85 on Floor.

Senior Captain Linda Tran placed 2nd on Bars, scoring a 9.5.

Sophomore Riley Neumann competed on three events. Her highest score of the meet was 9.0 on Floor.

Freshman Era Johnston competed on three events. Her highest score was 8.8 on Floor.

The Lady Scots will compete at the Toys for Toys Invitational hosted by LD Bell HS on December 2.
