The Running Scots competed well at the Cedar Park XC Invitational on Saturday. The Varsity team of Sam Brady, Luke Finch, Hunter Hegi, William Jaudes, Mark Philbin, Jake Richter, and Jeffrey Tubbs-Jimenez finished 10th overall. The team was led by Tubbs-Jimenez who finished 33rd overall with a time of 17:00. Outstanding performances were also turned in by Hunter Hegi and Mark Philbin who both ran personal best times. Hegi and Philbin are both Golden Spike Runners of the Week. The Junior Varsity had an outstanding day finishing 4th overall, with 10 runners turning in personal best times. The team was led by Drew Gregory, who finished 5th individually with a personal best time of 18:25. Tommy Kerr and Kalder Korte also earned medals finishing 6th and 11th overall respectively. The Running Scots compete this Saturday @ the Frisco ISD Invitational at Warren Park. Race time is 7:55 AM. Go Scots!!
