The Running Scots competed well on Saturday at the Marcus Coach T Invitational @ Glen Lakes Park in Denton. The Elite Varsity team of Sam Brady, Luke Finch, Hunter Hegi, Tommy Kerr, Mark Philbin, Jake Richter, and Jeffrey Tubbs-Jimenez finished 12th overall in a field of top caliber 6A competitors. The team was led by outstanding performances from Hunter Hegi, Jeffrey Tubbs-Jimenez, and Jake Richter. Richter is this weeks’ Golden Spike Award winner. In the Varsity Open division the team finished 12th overall, and was led by Drew Gregory. In the JV Elite division the team finished 10th and was led by Archer Stahl. The Running Scots compete this Saturday in the Cedar Park XC Invitational. Race time is 7:45 AM. Go Scots!!
