It was a great day on Saturday, April 17th at the Area Track & Field Meet! Senior Meredith Sims broke her own school record in the 100 m dash with a time of 11.91. She set the previous record two weeks ago at the District 13-5A Meet with a time of 12.10.

Senior captain Claire Cochran also broke her own school record in the 100 m hurdles with a time of 14.83. She set the previous record of 15.05 in 2019.

Both of these Lady Scots won their event and will be competing at the Region II-5A Meet on April 23rd-24th. We are so proud of these young ladies and look forward to watching them compete at the Regional Meet!
