The Lady Scots Gymnastics team placed 2nd at Regional Championships in route to qualifying for the Texas State Championships to be held April 27-28 at Trinity High School.

Freshmen Ana Simpson and Lily Ford along with Junior Captain Kennedy Downing, led the team during the two day competition.

Ana Simpson was the highest finishing gymnast for HP, placing 4th on Vault, 9th on Bars, 4th on Beam, 2nd on Floor, and 4th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.65 which she scored on both Compulsory Vault and Compulsory Floor.

Lily Ford placed 10th on Vault, 10th on Bars, 4th on Beam, 5th on Floor, and 5th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.55 on Compulsory Floor.

Kennedy Downing placed 7th on Vault, 8th on Beam, 3rd on Floor, and 7th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.75 on Compulsory Vault.

Junior Abby Sabatini competed on 6 of the 8 events at Regionals, placing 8th on Vault. Her highest score of the meet was 9.45 on Compulsory Vault.

Senior Emily Conaty competed on 5 events at Regionals. Her highest score of the meet was 8.65 on Compulsory Floor.

Senior Megan Mulcahy competed on 5 events as well. Her highest score of the meet was 8.8 on Optional Vault.

Freshman Riley Neumann contributed on 2 events. Her highest score of the meet was 9.05 on Compulsory Floor.

Freshman McKinley Meece competed on 2 events. Her highest score of the meet was 8.5 on Compulsory Vault.

Junior Captain Linda Tran competed on Compulsory Bars. Junior Riley Rieman competed on Optional Floor. Senior Captain Aubrey Stevens competed on Compulsory Floor. Senior Carly Hart competed on Optional Floor.
