Lady Scots Compete @ Coppell Relays

The Lady Scots Track & Field Teams competed at the Coppell Relays on Saturday, February 27th. This was the first meet of the season! It was great to be back competing again!!

The Varsity placed 3rd and the JV placed 2nd. Flower Mound won the Varsity division followed by Coppell. The other teams were Marcus, Prosper, Hebron, Lovejoy, and Southlake Carroll. Coppell won the JV division.

The Varsity team set 15 new personal records: Anna Gregory – discus (72’ 2”), Savannah Hinze – long jump (16’ 9”), 100 m hurdles (16.33), and 300 m hurdles (49.24), Hattie Speicher – long jump (16’ 2”) and 300 m hurdles (52.12), Mason Prather – shot put (29’ 1 ¼”), Flora Solymosi – shot put (24’ ½”), Raina Pietrzak – triple jump (34’ 7 ½”), Abigail Schott – triple jump (31’ 0”), 400 m dash (63.87), Adelaide Aiken – 3200 m run (13:27.98), Katarina McIlveene – 100 m dash (14.25), Kate Rossley – 200 m dash (27.56), Cameron Fawcett – 1600 m run (5:02.58).

The JV set six new personal records – Peyton Stone (discus and shot put), Chloe Haag (triple jump and tied high jump PR), Katherine Anne Massey (pole vault), Ellie Jones (shot put), and Taylor Saphier (1600 m run).

The tracksters of the week were Savannah Hinze, Kate Rossley, and Hattie Speicher.

The next meet for the Lady Scots will be the Lovejoy Track and Field Invitational at the Lovejoy Stadium on Saturday, March 6th. The field events begin at 8:30 a.m., the 3200 m run at 9:00 a.m., the DMR at 11:30 a.m., and the running finals at 1:00 p.m.
