On Thursday, February 6th, the Lady Scots Track & Field Team competed in their third practice meet of the season. The Tri-Meet with Lovejoy and Anna was held at Lovejoy High School. The meet consisted of seven running events – no relays and no field events. The team did a super job!

The following day the team co-hosted the HP Tri-Meet with the Men’s Track & Field Team at Germany Park. The other two teams were Coppell and Lake Highlands. The Lady Scots competed well in all 14 events. This was the last practice meet of the season. The captains made red and blue hair ribbons for each of their teammates to wear in remembrance of the Moore High School track/field and cross country athletes who were injured in an accident last week.

The regular season starts on Saturday, February 15th at the Newman Smith Trojan Relays. The meet will be held at Standridge Stadium in Carrollton. The field events start at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 3200 meter run at 8:30, and the rest of the running events at 12:30 p.m.
