Highland Park had little trouble helping coach Randy Allen add another win to his illustrious resume. The Scots downed Sunset, 79-0, after opening a 72-0 lead at halftime.

It marked Allen’s 399th career win, pushing his overall record to 399-88-6. Next week against Lancaster in a likely District 6-5A Div. I title game, Allen will have a chance to become the third coach in state history to reach the 400-win milestone, joining Corpus Christi Calallen’s Phil Danaher and G.A. Moore, whose career included stops at Pilot Point, Celina and Aubrey.
