The Lady Scots competed in three events at the State Track & Field Meet on Friday, May 10th at Mike Myers Stadium in Austin. Senior captain Maddy Stephens placed 7th in the 800 M Run with a time of 2:19.09 and sophomore Ella Patterson placed 8th in the 400 M Dash with a time of 59. 59. The 4 x 400 M Relay placed 4th with a time of 3:52.14 – McKinney North placed 3rd with a time of 3:51.68. The relay members were sophomore Meredith Sims, senior captain Maddy Stephens, junior Mary Warriner Kemp, and sophomore Ella Patterson and the alternates were sophomore Elle Thompson and junior captain Olivia Conner.

The athletes represented Highland Park very well and the coaches are so proud of all of the athletes. The 2019 team had a great season! Congratulations!
