We hosted the Highland Park Invitational with 7 schools represented.

Our JV Gymnasts won for the second straight year and our Varsity guys took 2nd to LD Bell.
Tristan Brown was our star JV gymnast as he won the All Around, pommel horse parallel bars and placed 2nd on vault and horizontal bar.
Derek Leonard WON Horizontal Bar!!
Austin McKinney was a surprise win on vault and two 2nd place finishes.
Mason Jones competed for the first time and finishing 3rd on Rings and Parallel Bars.
Adam Harper, and Xavier Rafique were top 4 on there events while Derek Leonard shocked the team with a win on Horizontal Bar.

Our Varsity Gymnastics picked up the pace from last week with a 2nd place team.
Junior Captain Nicolas Gregory increased his difficulty on floor, vault and rings, and it paid off. He did a rarely seen Double Front Flip on floor and a layout Tsuk on vault. He finished 4th in the All Around, 2nd on Parallel Bars and 3rd on Vault..
Senior Captain Luke Stanford was 10th All Around and on the award stand twice more with a 5th and 8th place finish on Horizontal Bar and Parallel Bars.
Another well performed routine was Senior Captain Thomas Jones on Floor and Vault. Thomas’ upgraded difficulty paid off as he was 6th and 7th on those events. His exercise presentation is starting to peak as we get to the end of our season!
Xander Mclendon had a P.B. on Parallel Bars with a 5th place.

Senior Captain Adam Elahmadi is coming back from wrist injury and competed on only one event, floor.
Well, he won it with a 9.3. While Jack Smith took 4th in that event.
