What a great way to start the day! On Saturday, February 2nd, the Lady Scots Track & Field Team, dedicated two hours to the Voice of Hope. The captains chose the Voice of Hope as their Community Service Project for the second season. The team made math flashcards, decorated classrooms and hallways, painted, and made cards for the children.
According to the Voice of Hope Ministries website, “the ASPIRE After-School Program is provided five days per week during the academic year. Our program provides opportunities for students’ personal growth and to develop meaningful relationships with peers and supportive, caring adults." The Voice of Hope’s mission is to change lives one at a time.
The Lady Scots had an amazing morning working together and making a difference in lives of children that they may never meet.
It's a great day to be a Lady Scot!
