Members of the Lady Scots Cross Country and Track/Field Teams helped with Math Night at Bradfield on Tuesday, November 6th.

According to Regina Dumar, the principal at Bradfield, the girls assisted with set-up and break-down of the Math A Big Deal event. They also interacted with students and their parents as they encouraged them at hands-on math stations they could use at school and home. The girls ran over 18 math stations such as; weighing items using the metric system, creating 2 and 3D shapes using mathematical shapes, a multiplication throw-down, building with numbers and karaoke with math which was a favorite. The parents loved the fact that “girls” liked math and were the ones running math stations.
