The Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) held its annual Honors Banquet on Monday, July 9th at the Hilton in Arlington. Coach Roxanne Farris, an Assistant Lady Scots Cross Country and Track/Field Coach, was recognized at the banquet for being selected as the 2017-18 Class 5A/6A Sub-Varsity Track/Field Coach of the Year.

On Wednesday, July 11th, senior Maddy Stephens participated in the TGCA Class 5A/6A Cross Country and Track/Field All-Star demonstrations. Later in the evening at halftime of the Class 5A/6A All-Star Basketball Game, Maddy was recognized for being selected to the 2017-18 Class 5A/6A Cross Country All-Star Team.
