Congratulations to Adelaide Wortman as she was selected to the 2026 Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) Class 5A Super Elite Track & Field Team. There were 14 young ladies in Class 5A who received this award this year.

According to the THSCA, "the award recognizes student athletes across the state of Texas for their exemplary athletic achievement in their respective sport. The criteria includes: Be of good moral character, Varsity sports only, have been a member of the team in good standing at the time of nomination, and player has excelled as an elite member in their respective sport."

Adelaide is a super young lady, and the coaches and her teammates are so proud of her.
