Highland Park ISD is pleased to announce the hiring of Ashley Moore as the next Head Baseball Coach at Highland Park High School. Coach Moore brings more than 20 years of successful head coaching experience to the Scots baseball program. Most recently, he served as the head baseball coach at Hillcrest High School, where he built a winning culture resulting in perennial post season success. During his tenure, the Panthers captured multiple district championships, including an outstanding 2025–2026 season in which they posted a 28-5 overall record and finished undefeated in district play. Throughout his coaching career, Coach Moore has earned District Coach of the Year honors eight times, a testament to his commitment to excellence, player development, and building championship-caliber programs. Prior to beginning his coaching career, Coach Moore spent four seasons pitching in professional baseball, bringing valuable playing experience and a deep understanding of the game to his student-athletes.
