Congratulations to the Lady Scots Track & Field Team as they placed 12th at the UIL Region II-5A Championships. The meet was held on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd at the UTA Maverick Stadium.

The team scored 13 points. There were 28 teams who scored at least one point.

One of the Lady Scots qualified for the UIL Class 5A State Championships on Friday, May 15th. Freshman Adelaide Wortman placed 1st in the 800 M Run with a new personal record of 2:13.50. The UIL State Meet will be held at Mike Myers Stadium on the UT campus. Race time is 5:20 p.m.

The team set six new personal records and one new season best.
