The Running Scots competed well at the Southlake 2 Mile XC Invitational on Saturday at Bob Jones Park.

Varsity Elite finished 7th overall with only 5 runners. The team was led by Luke Hall who finished 19th overall with a personal best time of 10:05.02.

The team also competed well in the Varsity Open and JV divisions. Collin Krantz for Open and Hobbs Thayer for JV led both teams. Krantz finished 21st overall with a personal best time of 10:41. All 15 runners in both divisions ran personal best 2-mile times.

Runners of the week are Luke Hall (Varsity Elite), Collin Krantz (Varsity Open), Ranger Walsh (Varsity Open), and Hobbs Thayer (JV).

The team will race next Saturday at the Coach T-Marcus Invitational at North Lakes Park in Denton. Race-time is 7:00 am.
