On Saturday, March 22nd, the Lady Scots Track & Field Team hosted the Tracy Wills Invitational. Every year this is a very special day for the Lady Scots. This was the 30th year for the Tracy Wills Invitational. The following information is on the meet program: Tracy Wills was an outstanding Highland Park runner and honor student. She was known for her quick smile and as a fierce competitor. She died suddenly on March 1, 1995 of pneumonia. She was 15 years old. It is in her memory that we compete today.

This year the Lady Scots hosted seven schools: Bells, Garland, Saginaw, Uplift Luna Preparatory, Ursuline Academy, Wylie, and Young Women’s Leadership of Ft. Worth. The Lady Scots won both the Varsity and JV Divisions. The team set 42 new personal records and had 12 new season bests.

This is also a day the team honors the seniors. Class of 2025 – 26 seniors: Surya Assar, KJ Boudry, Brooke Chandler, Elaine Cochran, Madeleine Denton (captain), MK Diehl, Annabelle Fitzenhagen, AK Goldman, Cate Hale (captain), Claire Hamilton, Baylee Hannagan, Georgia Jones (captain), Emmeline McNeil, Samantha Meck, Natalie Miller, Lily New, Tessa Nurre, Molly O’Rourke, Elle Pickelman (captain), Varsha Ravi, Price Rhodes (captain), Caroline Scott, Annie Speicher, Mina Stojadinovic, Mary Madison Swail, and Chloe Wittorf.

The annual Fun Run for girls ages K-6th was also a big success! It was great to have all of the kids running and meeting the Lady Scots.

A big thank you to all of the parents, coaches, teachers, and community members who volunteered to help with the Tracy Wills Invitational. We could not host this meet without your help! We appreciate you so much!

Go Scots!
