The Running Scots completed a great week on Saturday @ the Flower Mound Invitational. The varsity team of Sam Brady, Charlie Campbell, Hunter Hegi, William Jaudes, Joseph Linck, Ethan Moss, Mark Philbin, Jake Richter, and Ruihan Zhu turned in an outstanding performance on Saturday finishing 3rd overall. The Running Scots were led by senior Captain Ethan Moss who finished 9th in the individual standings with a time of 16:56 in his first 5K race this season and is this weeks’ Golden Spike Award winner. Six varsity runners ran personal best times. The JV1 team finished 4th overall and were led by sophomore Kalder Korte who finished 13th overall and was one of 5 JV1 runners who ran a personal best time on Saturday. JV2 finished 1st overall at the Camp Rorie meet in Mesquite on Friday and were led by junior Kai Jejurikar. The team had six runners finish in the top 10. The Running Scots will compete this Saturday at the Run of the Panther XC Invitational at Fossil Ridge High School this Saturday. Race time 8:00 am. Go Scots!!
