The Lady Scots competed in the UIL 5A State Golf Tournament Monday and Tuesday in Georgetown. The team finished the tournament 9th place in the 12 team field. Sophomore An Shelmire led the team with a 13th place individual finish in the 72 player field after posting rounds of 73-80. Freshman Sophie Biediger, and juniors Nikita Nair, Katie Laird, and Julia Cary all played well to help the team.

The team had a great year, winning the district tournament by a large margin and finishing as the Region 2 Runner-Up to advance to the state tournament. All 5 girls are expected to return next year and the experience gained this year should help them next year! Two time defending state champion, Grapevine HS won the team title.
