The Lady Scots Gymnastics Team began their optional competition season on Friday evening finishing in 2nd place behind Lakeview Centennial High School.

Freshman Linda Tran won Floor, was 2nd on Bars, 3rd on Beam, 5th on Vault and 2nd All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.7 on Floor.

Freshman Kennedy Downing placed 3rd on Vault, 4th on Floor, 6th on Bars, and 4th All-Around. Her highest score of the meet was 9.1 on Floor.

Sophomore Megan Mulcahy placed 4th on Bars and 6th All-Around. Her highest score was Vault.

Sophomore Lauren Cimorelli placed 7th on Vault, which was her highest score of the meet.

Freshman Abby Sabatini placed 4th on Vault, which was her highest score of the meet.

Senior Captain Tatum Meeks competed on Bars and placed 5th.

Senior Captain Katherine Downing competed on two events scoring her highest score on Beam.

Sophomore Carly Hart completed on Vault.

Sophomore Aubrey Stevens competed on Floor.

The next meet is scheduled for Thursday, January 24 at Rockwall High School.
