The Lady Scots Varsity Track/Field Team competed at the Area 15/16 – 5A Meet on Thursday, April 19th in Longview. The meet was held at Pirate Stadium and hosted by Pine Tree High School. The team won the Area Championship with 100 points. Lovejoy was 2nd with 96 points.

All of the athletes competed very well and had a great day!

The next meet for the Lady Scots will be the Region II-5A Meet on Friday, April 27th and Saturday, April 28th at UTA. The meet starts at 9:00 a.m. both days. To compete at the Regional Meet, the athletes had to place 1st-4th in their event.
